Cherry blossom – Langen Foundation

I visited the Langen Foundation near Dusseldorf last weekend and with spring finally beginning, the Japanese cherry trees were in full blossom. The period of bloom for this kind of tree is only one month apparently and with the first sun of the year, this place in the middle of nature and fields seemed like a piece of paradise. The museum was designed by Tadao Ando, which in itself is worth the visit, but the spring exhibition of ‘Pae White – In love with Tomorrow’ was also completely enchanting.

Loafers

The ‘loafers’ have been around for quite some time now, but I only recently developed an interest in them. They seem so immensely comfortable! I found my selection on Net-a-porter, and I hope they will be going in sales soon! Otherwise, H&M has a less expensive alternative here.
